Watch Vinod In Action
Beginning from humble backgrounds in Tirunelveli, a land at the Southern tip of India, Vinod Senthil rose to become a prominent figure in the cybersecurity industry, with grit, passion, endurance, and love for what he does – hack into computers, applications, and systems to find their flaws and reinforce their security.
Vinod is a certified cybersecurity professional and the CEO of infySEC, an accomplished cybersecurity firm. Vinod started out as a teenager who wanted to hack into systems to detect their vulnerabilities. As a young boy in the early 2000s, he simply could not fathom the fact that security on the internet was limited. The cyber space had just begun to take shape and was already under a lot of stress. He knew right then that his purpose in life was to build a safe and secure online environment for those of the present and the future. But he also knew all too well that he could not do it alone, and that’s why he started building an army, one that could walk alongside him, one that shared in his burning passion, and long-lasting dreams. infySEC was born out of the efforts to create this army.

In July 2013, Vinod broke the Guinness world record for conducting the largest information security gathering for the longest duration. More than 9000 people had participated in the event held at the SRM University, Chennai, which spanned over a 24-hour period. This event was both a personal and professional renaissance for Vinod. It was an indication to him that he needs to scale up whatever he was doing.
The event broke 13 previous records for the largest information security gathering, including Guinness World Records, Asia Book of Records, and India Book of Records, etc.
From founding to present
infySEC was founded in 2010. At first, Vinod hadn’t had the means to support his start up, no clients, no customers, and it seemed to be a dead end. So, he began training people, kept at it, and before long, he was training students and professionals from 250 educational institutions and corporates, some among them were companies he’d even applied his resume to before.
infySEC grew exponentially, registering a 250% growth year over year, and before long, it transcended from a consulting firm to a company that developed and sold security software.
